Honors Oct 13–intro to Kindred

Here's the slideshow introduction to Kindred. On the last page is the reading schedule I'm proposing. 

For next week, read the Prologue and the first section, The River, for Tuesday. Read the next section, The Fire, for Thursday.I'm in my re-read of the novel, so I will try to send out trigger warnings soon.

The plan will be to take the last 15-20 minutes of live lesson to talk about sections of the book. We can also set up additional time in the afternoon as needed. During the live lesson time, I will have some historical context to help you understand the novel.
